Refund Policy

1. Initial Deposit and First Installment:
To confirm your admission into a program at CGU Online, an initial deposit along with the first installment of your tuition fee must be paid. This amount will be adjusted against your total program fee upon successful visa approval (where applicable). In case your visa application is declined, this initial deposit will be refunded as per the refund procedure.

2. Student Withdrawal:
If a student decides to withdraw from the program after visa approval, no refund of the initial deposit or any other fee paid will be processed.

3. Visa Rejection:
If a visa application is denied due to the submission of false documents, misrepresentation of facts, or any fraudulent activity, no refund will be granted under any circumstances.

4. Malpractice or Legal Violations:
In the event a student is involved in any criminal offense or legal misconduct as per the jurisdiction of the concerned country, CGU Online shall not be liable for any refund.

5. Refund Request Procedure

  • Submit a Written Application: Students seeking a refund must submit a written request addressed to the CGU Online administration, clearly stating the reason along with all necessary supporting documents.
  • Request Review: The administration will review the request within 14 business days. Additional documents may be requested during this process.
  • Notification of Decision: The student will be formally notified in writing of the final decision regarding their refund application. If approved, the refund will be processed within 30 business days.
  • Refund Method: Approved refunds will be transferred via the original mode of payment. If that is not possible, an alternate payment method will be discussed and finalized with the student.

6. Additional Terms & Conditions

  • Amendments: CGU Online reserves the right to modify its program withdrawal and refund policies at its discretion. Refund requests made due to misinterpretation of policies, missed deadlines, or lack of awareness of administrative procedures will not be entertained.
  • Bank & Handling Charges: Wherever applicable, bank charges or transaction handling fees will be deducted from the total refundable amount.
  • Special Cases: For medical withdrawals or genuine personal emergencies, students must fill out the official Withdrawal Form available on the CGU Online website and attach necessary documentation. On approval, an “I” (Incomplete) grade may be recorded, and the student may be placed on academic hold until deemed fit to continue. If a medical withdrawal request is denied, a late withdrawal may still be processed with a “W” (Withdrawal) grade if justified.

Cases of academic dishonesty will be reviewed by the academic department and the university’s disciplinary committee. The final decision regarding academic grades and fee refund eligibility will be binding and at the sole discretion of CGU Online.

Note:
Refunds will only be processed under the circumstances stated above. No other refund requests shall be entertained. Students are advised to carefully review and fully understand this policy before proceeding with enrollment.
