Credit Transfer
At CGU Online, Georgia, academic credit transfers are considered on a case-by-case basis and are not automatically guaranteed. Students wishing to transfer credits from other institutions should proactively discuss their situation with our Admissions Advisors before signing the Enrollment Agreement. The final decision regarding transferable credits will be communicated to the student prior to the execution of their enrollment.
While CGU Online encourages applications from students worldwide, it’s important to understand that the transferability of academic credits earned at other institutions, whether local or international, depends entirely on our internal review and assessment. Courses completed at certain affiliated colleges and institutes may qualify for credit transfer into equivalent programs at CGU Online, subject to evaluation.
CGU Online does not guarantee that credits earned here will be accepted by other educational institutions. Students intending to transfer to another university or college should first consult with the admissions department of the receiving institution to confirm whether credits from CGU Online will be accepted.
Credit Transfer Requirements
To assess transfer credit eligibility, students must submit an official transcript of records in a language that is understandable by our admissions team. Typically:
- Bachelor-level courses may qualify for bachelor program credit transfers.
- Master-level courses may be considered for master program program credit transfers.
All credit transfers are awarded on an individual basis. Our experienced admissions specialists carefully review course syllabi, content, and other relevant academic documentation to determine equivalency and suitability for transfer into your selected program at CGU Online, Georgia.
If it’s determined that no credits can be granted for previous academic work, students will be admitted based on their high school/secondary school transcripts or the most recent completed qualification.
CGU Online permits transfer credits from both Georgian and international universities and colleges.
Important Notes
- All transfer credit decisions are handled case-by-case.
- The policy is effective from January 1st, 2024, and supersedes all previous versions.
- Students must be officially admitted into a degree program before any transfer credit evaluation is finalized.
