Application Process
Central Global University Online follows a rolling admissions policy, allowing students to apply at any time throughout the year without fixed deadlines. Each application is carefully reviewed by the admissions committee based on multiple eligibility criteria. All applicants are required to submit original, official transcripts from their previous institutions. If any documents are not in English, a certified English translation must be provided along with the originals. As part of the admission process, an interview may also be conducted. Applicants will be informed of their admission status — acceptance or rejection — within 30 days of submitting their application. CGU Online is committed to a non-discriminatory admissions process, welcoming students regardless of race, color, nationality, disability, gender, or age. The university ensures reasonable accommodations for applicants and students with disabilities in line with applicable legal standards.

Applicants holding a master’s degree in a field unrelated to business may still be considered for admission into the doctorate program. In such cases, these applicants may be admitted as non-degree-seeking students.
For admission to the doctorate program, applicants must provide proof of a master’s degree in a business-related discipline. Along with this, candidates are required to submit official transcripts, an updated resume or CV, and three letters of recommendation from academic faculty, professional colleagues, or employers.
Candidates with at least 5 years of documented professional work experience who are returning to academic study may also be considered for admission. Their acceptance will depend on a comprehensive review of prior professional and educational experiences, and these students too may be admitted as non-degree-seeking students initially.
Official, original transcripts must be submitted either with the application or within the following deadlines:
- Before completing 9 semester credit hours for bachelor’s programs
- Before completing 6 semester credit hours for master’s programs
- Before completing 8 semester credit hours for doctorate programs
Failure to provide official transcripts within these timeframes may lead to withdrawal from the program. Students affected by this will be required to reapply for admission. To avoid any delays or disruptions in your academic progress, it is important to follow these submission guidelines carefully.
