Terms & Conditions
Terms & Conditions – CGU Online
When you register with Central Global University (CGU) Online for your academic program — and for each subsequent academic year — you agree to abide by the Terms & Conditions set forth by the university.
To help you clearly understand our policies, we’ve highlighted some of the essential terms below. These terms form an important part of your agreement with us when you enrol in any program offered by CGU Online.
Why Partner with CGU Online?
1. Registration Fee:
At the time of enrolling for your first academic year, a Registration Fee is applicable. In some cases, this fee may be combined within your course/module fee, as displayed on our website. For continuing your studies in the following years, applicable registration fees must be paid as per the program requirement.
2. Non-Refundable Charges:
Certain charges are strictly non-refundable. These include:
- Application Processing Fee
- Fees for evaluation of prior learning (if applicable)
These charges will be clearly specified on our website or communicated at the time of application.
3. Examination Centre Fees:
As CGU Online caters to students globally, online examinations are conducted via different virtual teams according to regional time zones. Examination-related charges, if applicable, are determined by the respective external examination teams and must be paid directly to them. These charges are not part of the program fee displayed on the CGU Online website.
4. Additional Tuition / External Provider Fees:
In cases where a student opts for additional classes, workshops, or support services through external providers, the associated fees are to be borne separately by the student.
Other Important Terms
5. Hardcopy of Degree Certificates:
Students wishing to receive a physical (hard copy) of their degree certificate may request it by paying an additional courier charge of $300.
6. Apostille Services:
Students requiring an apostille of their degree or transcript can request this service by paying a processing fee of $1000. The turnaround time for apostille processing is approximately 60-90 days.
7. WES (World Education Services) Transcripts & Degree Submission:
Students applying through WES for credential evaluation must independently arrange for their transcripts and degrees to be sent and evaluated. All costs related to this process are to be borne by the student. It’s the student’s responsibility to ensure these documents reach WES before the commencement of their respective academic batch.
8. Batch Swap Policy:
Students seeking to switch to a different batch after enrollment can do so, subject to batch availability, deadline adherence, and by paying a Batch Swap Fee of $500.
9. Late Fee Penalty:
Any delay in fee payments will attract a penalty of 2% per month on the outstanding amount, calculated on the total pending fee.
Final Note
By registering for any course or program at CGU Online, you confirm your understanding and acceptance of these Terms & Conditions. It’s advised to carefully read and review these terms before completing your enrollment.
